Our fittings are certified for contact with drinking water and meet the strict requirements of the Federal Environment Agency (UBA) as well as the German Drinking Water Ordinance. The tested material (brass in accordance with DIN EN 50930-6) complies with all limit values and is demonstrably corrosion-resistant and hygienically safe.
The DVGW Myth: Does a Fitting Need This Certificate?
Customers frequently hear or read in forums that a bathroom fitting must have a "DVGW certificate".
The clear answer: No. In Germany, there is no legal obligation to obtain this seal.
The DVGW seal is issued by "DVGW Cert GmbH", a for-profit commercial company. As the adjacent table confirms, using this seal is completely voluntary and has no legal basis.
This voluntary testing is very cost-intensive. These costs are reflected directly in the final product price – the customer pays extra for a voluntary seal.

Why Do Installers Often Require a DVGW Seal?
Many specialist installers purchase their goods via the traditional, three-tier distribution channel (manufacturer → wholesaler → installer). This distribution channel often operates via "gross price lists" or "pseudo prices" – very high list prices on which the installer receives substantial discounts.
The DVGW seal is often used here as a selling point to justify these high prices to the end customer. It protects high profit margins in traditional retail, as products without this expensive seal (such as ours) cannot be directly compared in terms of price.
Through direct sales, we bypass wholesalers and these price markups. We prove quality through transparent analyses and premium components rather than an expensive seal – and pass these savings directly on to you.

We disclose the material composition of our fitting bodies. Every production batch is tested using X-ray fluorescence analysis to guarantee compliance with UBA specifications. This analysis confirms that our brass precisely complies with the strict limit values for materials in contact with drinking water.
2. Quality Through the Best Components
A fitting is only as good as its individual parts. That is why we exclusively install components from experienced, reputable suppliers who in turn meet the most important standards.
- Fitting Body: Manufactured in accordance with UBA specifications and DIN 50930-6, as proven by our material certificates.
- Cartridges: Durable brand-name cartridges (e.g., from Sedal) that comply with the KTW guideline.
- Aerators: Brand quality from Neoperl, likewise KTW-compliant.
