Good retro-style fittings are often expensive if they are to be stable. In the meantime, I have bought this kitchen tap and several bathroom taps from PaulGurkes (model Mercury in black). All fittings appear very high-quality and stable, the material looks good, it appears well-made, installation was not a problem. That I was mistaken twice about the appearance of certain individual parts (towel holder etc.) was not a problem, the company provided precise information about returns and everything went smoothly. Technical questions were also answered very quickly: In my opinion, this was good service and very good quality at reasonable prices!

The product clearly deserves 5 stars, however, there are 2 things to note that do not inherently lead to a worse rating, but should be put on the quality list by sales. Firstly, the flex hoses are 40cm long, which is far too short. Secondly, neither the flex hoses nor the connections on the fitting are marked in a way that immediately and unmistakably indicates which connection is for cold and which for hot water. The illustration is also not very helpful here.
