Drinking Water Protection & Safeguarding
2. Trinkwasserschutz & Absicherung Bidet-Anlagen erfordern den Schutz vor gesundheitsgefährdendem Wasser (Flüssigkeitskategorie 5 nach DIN EN 1717). Folgende Sicherungsmaßnahmen sind zwingend erforderlich:2. Drinking Water Protection & Safeguarding Bidet systems require protection against hazardous water (Fluid Category 5 according to DIN EN 1717). The following safety measures are mandatory:
• Vermeidung von Fehlzirkulation (Überströmen): Ist die Armatur geöffnet, der Wasserfluss aber an der Handbrause blockiert, stehen Kalt- und Warmwasser im Mischergehäuse in direkter Verbindung. Um ein Überströmen zwischen den Netzleitungen bei Druckschwankungen zu verhindern, müssen Rückflussverhinderer (RV) an den Kalt- und Warmwasserzuläufen installiert werden.• Prevention of Backflow (Overflow): If the fitting is open but the water flow is blocked at the hand shower, cold and warm water are in direct connection in the mixer housing. To prevent overflow between the mains during pressure fluctuations, check valves (RV) must be installed on the cold and hot water inlets.
