Now again on the Paul Gurkes page. We had bought this "Luna" bathroom faucet for our old building, not in the Paul Gurkes shop itself. Simply incredibly beautiful. We wanted it. Installation and everything was so incredibly easy that it's not even worth mentioning.
In the meantime, several years have passed. The work of art is truly a decoration, fits so wonderfully with our house from 1912! And now we have long-term experience: The chrome is really thick and indestructible, has survived a cleaning lady with a scrubbing sponge without any marks! Our water has a hardness of 4. Apart from occasional acidic wiping, no maintenance is necessary, years of misuse by my family of 5 have passed the faucet absolutely without a trace. The porcelain parts have also completely survived the 3-child test so far! In the same time, we have destroyed 4 ceramic sinks! The cartridge is also like new. Crazy.
So, here it comes: It switches from the faucet to the shower by swinging the faucet to the side. I've never seen anything like it. That's brilliant! It deserves a Nobel Prize for installation! No more injured toddlers during bath time! This has always been a problem for us: The children regularly hit their heads, shoulders, and other body parts on the faucet while bathing, causing bruises and blood. Even we adults have occasionally bumped into the faucet while showering. Paul Gurkes Luna installed: Never a problem again. Water in the bathtub, faucet to the side, kids in, bath toys in, pure joy! When showering: No faucet in the way, why doesn't anyone else do this?
So, apart from the visual delight this faucet brings us every day, there is also long-term joy and, for the first time, completely unclouded bathing fun for everyone. We love this thing!
ONE MORE thing: Had dealings with Paul Gurkes support in another context. Unbelievable. Lightning fast and absolutely helpful, accommodating, and immediately comes up with solutions, with unprecedented friendliness. Seriously?
Unfortunately, the further bathroom renovations in our house have dragged on. That's why we will only switch everything to Paul Gurkes this year, at the latest next year. Fully convinced. Visually, qualitatively, and technically unbeatable. And at a price almost like a DIY store! Such a thing doesn't exist!
